Moral of the story: franchise reboots fucking suck.
Yes, Helena Wayne is back. But one thing that was learned from Crisis on Infinite Earths and subsequently Flashpoint is that no one outside of the Trinity is ever exempt from getting the axe. Not even being Batman’s daughter protected Helena from being killed and erased for 22 years, even if she did become “someone else.”
Needless to say, I will always fear for this character’s future for this very reason, and even moreso for the crime of -GASP!- being female.
